I have spent the last week or so looking at many different Help Desk Ticket Systems. It seems that all of the free ones run on PHP or some other odd scripting language that should not be run on a Windows server. I am looking for a solution that runs on my Windows 2003 IIS Server and uses SQL or Access for the database. It also needs to have Active Directory integration so the users don’t have to remember an additional password. So far I have found only one such solution…. Liberum www.liberum.org. This solution has all of the features I was looking for… AD, IIS, SQL\Access, ASP.
